The next time you decide to out to dinner with the family, let everyone pitch in to give it a review. Print out the attached document and have your kids help you to critique the place. Pretend that you are writing an article for a newspaper and let everyone put in their opinion of how you are served, what the food is like and how the experience is. You can even add some goofy questions to keep your kids somewhat occupied while you wait for food. Have one of them keep a stopwatch to time how long it takes to have a server get to your table, or how long it take after placing an order to get your food. All for fun of course! Also you can count how many times the server smiles during your visit. For the littler ones, ask them how many crayons they were given to color with, or if they liked the coloring page. You can come up with all sorts of ideas. Maybe even let your little ones draw a picture of what they think the plate of food will look like before it arrives. And don’t forget to take a picture of your family at the restaurant so that you can attach it to your form and remember the experience, good or bad. So that you’ll know next time if you want to go back there.
