With either of these sites, or some of the other free ones you try out some blogging, here are some things to think about as you plan it out:

  • Why do you want to blog? Do you want to share your thoughts? Do you want to keep a general online diary? Do you want to make money?

  • Think about what kind of category or niche your blog falls under, then keep your posts geared toward that topic.

  • If you want to make some money using ads on your site, you’ll want to investigate which blog templates allow you to add your ad code.

If you are ready to really blog in a serious way, it is recommended that you host your own blog and then upload the different types of templates that you might want to use.
